A seductive and highly decorative original oil painting by Juarez Machado, titled “L’Intimité d’un Petit Atelier Parisien” — The Intimacy of a Small Parisian Studio. Painted in Paris in 2005, the work captures one of Machado’s most recognisable themes: the theatrical world of the artist’s studio, where elegance, sensuality, architecture and performance meet.
The composition opens onto a richly furnished Parisian atelier beneath a glass mansard roof, with red draped curtains, carved wooden furniture, framed pictures, a writing desk and a view over the rooftops of Paris.
